Will Willimon always said he was going to make me famous–e.g. Resident Aliens–but it turned out to be Jim Burns. Jim has made me intelligible in a medium that is beyond me. He has done that without simplification. He understands what I have been trying to do. which is no mean achievement I am in his in his debt .
